I didn't have to watch a circ but I also managed to avoid every vaginal delivery on the floor. I had no desire to be in L&D (and I still don't) it's too personal of an experience for me just to wander in as a student "Hi, I'm here to watch... " so I read up, did my research and stayed out of the way.

Congratulations to all of our aspiring nurses!! : It's great to know that inactivists are out there and will be helping families, in whatever capacity they can.

BTW, OP I think you should go for it. We need more nurses and medical professionals like you. Perhaps you could even do L & D under the right circumstances. You could help a lot of boys.
I know I couldn't. Circ'ing isn't the only thing I'm against... I'm also against inducing and formula etc etc. I would not love my job.....I'd be miserable. I'd be wanting to give info to every mom that I'd take care of and because of that I'd get in trouble or get fired. :/
