Natural Hair Dye?

I haven't dyed my hair in years because I'm paranoid about how safe it really is, and I'm still nursing(DD is almost 3) but I can't stand my natural hair color anymore. What are the "safest"/most natural hair dyes available? And has anyone used henna to do it?

I've seen hair color at Aubrey Organics website, but only in dark brown and maybe red? All natural though!

Is henna easy to use? Would I be able to do it myself?

Yes, it's pretty simple. It gets easier each time you use it too. Just do a little research and follow the directions. Mt hair was previously dyed with conventional dye, and I did not get any weird results.

I use henna. It's simple, but messy. I don't mind.

The hennaforhair site mentioned above is great!
