Wooly Nylon question

When you serge cloth dipes, do you put Wooly Nylon in the upper looper or lower looper? I suppose I could do both, but that would mean a trip to the sewing store and I'm trying to use up what I have
Thanks!

You can put it in either one. I usually put it in both loopers and use regular thread in the needle(s). Just give it try and see which you like better. One way will make the wooly show up on the top and the other will make it show up on the bottom. If that matters to you when you're sewing then make sure you have it how you want it.
The wooly will look nicer in the end, but I've seen (and made) diapers serged with all regular serger thread - they look nice too.

Thanks! I just found another spool of white wooly nylon, so my question doesn't even apply anymore I've done it all 3 ways- plain thread, one looper, and both loopers. I couldn't for the life of me remember which looper I did before, though. It *seemed* like I could do it either way, but I had to ask, lol.
Want to make these have super soft NB edges, and I found both black and white wooly in my stash-- and black would just look silly on the pastels I'm using
