Labor Inducing Recipes

I reading an article that says there are certain things you can eat to induce your labor. The typical castor oil, EP oil but then someone suggested Eggplant Parmesan from this restaurant. They even give you the recipe to make it yourself at home.

Yep - I've heard pineapple (fresh) and raw potato (that was a long time ago, tho) and cayenne tea.

Okay how about the labour inducing meal...
What would it look like?

Virgin Papaya Pinacolada
Soup Spicy Cayanne, Cumin
Entree Eggplant Parmeseana (oregano, hot peppers, basil)
Salad raw potatoe wjth evening primrose and balsamic vinegar dressing...with fresh oregano and basil
Dessert Pinapple, Mango, Kiwi and Black Licorice?
With RRL Tea

others cinnamon...
come on we can do it
(*reminds me of this restaurant we used to go to when we had the flu for #248 soup)

I think the Eggplant Parmigiana was because it was spicy and I also think it might have had something to do with the oregano.

so we are adding fresh oregano, hot peppers and basil to the salad as well..
keep them ideas comming...
I also heard papaya juice was good...

I'm drinking RRL tea. I have some labor enhancer tincture, which is made of black and blue cohosh...I wonder if that would start anything?

With ds, my dr. told me to eat Mexican food (mmmm..... I won't go into the reasoning behind it...it's a little tmi. It has something to do with it being spicy, and well let's just say it comes from the reason you always feel like your going into labor after eating Mexican food

i had my hubby make the labor salad last night and it didnt do a darn thing. i had to choke it down cuz it had red cabbage and balsamic vinegar my two least favorite things. LOL

I try to eat a whole pineapple a week and I put hot sauce on every meal or everything I eat. I love spicy foods as it is, so it is not hard to do it. Lots of walking is also a good recipe, it's working! I think I am in pre-labor, I am 4 cm dilated and felt a popping sound this morning inside my vagina, I need to hurry up and sew my mama pads I think I'm next...

I will... I am actually having 5 min apart cntx but not sure if I should call my mw and them go away, it's my first time feeling all this! my other 2 were induced so I am not sure what to expect. I feel they are going to go away as soon as my mw gets here

Just ate a whole pineapple a few hours ago and going to have some mash potatoes with hot sauce right now :

It would be a good idea and give her a heads up. I called mine a bit too late last time, basically I called her just before I could no longer communicate. I would have liked to have her there earlier to calm dh and help with preparations since things felt very hectic.

keep us posted Enith!

I heard it something about oregano and basil that makes you go into labor as well. Perhaps I'll order some pizza tonight. I was planning to cook but I have no energy whatso ever.
