Last time you and your teen went out together? - Page 2

My 12 year old and I bowl on a youth/adult league every Monday - it just started back up again. That is something for just the two of us and always a lot of fun. We like to go to the mall and browse every few weeks as well and spend time together watching movies or TV shows at home almost every day.

SO they're not teens yet, but...

Yesterday. DD and I went shopping (hit the thrift store and got a ton of back-to-school clothes, then to Macy's to buy all of our new dishes). DH spent the time with DS. They went for a walk to the baseball field and then picked a 1/2 bucket of blackberries.

I was out on Tuesday morning with my 17-yo, wrapping up paperwork and stuff for college (starts next week! : ). We went out for b'fast together afterward.

My 14-yo and I go shopping together a lot. We both love books, clothes, and great sales!

I took my oldest out for dinner and a movie a couple of weeks ago. My youngest and I do stuff together frequently - she's the only girl so we're shopping buddies The middle one - well, he has been working every evening forever so I hardly see him! I don't remember what the last thing we did alone together was.

DS1 and I haven't been out together in a long time...a movie, maybe? I can't remember for sure. However, we do sometimes play a game of Battleship or Connect Four or something after Family Game Night is officially over (ie. when his younger siblings have gone to bed). That's usually our time.

DS1 (15) and I went to see Slipknot and Disturbed a week and a half ago. Monday, we are going to the local collage town so he can get a hair cut for school, and to do lunch.

My 18 year old dd and I spent a lot of time together.....especially shopping! We moved her in the dorms last weekend....I miss her lots.....it is so quiet around here (and it is not even a week yet) and shopping is not even fun anymore!

That reminds me. DS1 went with me and dh to see Iron Maiden in June. We all had a great time. DS1 and I had to buy t-shirts together, to make sure we didn't buy the same one.

Not nearly enough. We just did her annual birthday trip to the mall with lunch out. I did have my, at the time, 1 month old in tow this year but that couldn't really be helped. We get a few hours together occasionally if dh and the boys head off somewhere. I really do need to carve out more one on one time with her and all of them for that matter.
