Would like a SUPER easy pattern for newborn hat, sweater ect

Im a new knitter and expecting # 2 and would love to knit something for the baby(its due in Jan)...

Im looking for a really easy laynette set..or even just a lil hat

The first sweater I made was the Baby Yoda Sweater. Sorry, I couldn't find a non-Ravelry link. And this hat is also really cute and easy though I'm not sure the two patterns work together. And here's another super easy one!

Little Turtle Knits Easy Peasy baby cardigan is (as promised by the name) a very easy quick knit - all garter stitch, knit in one piece, just seam up the side and under the arms.

This looks like it would be right up my alley - easy and all garter stitch. Has anyone bought it/made it?

I am so tempted to buy the pattern and make it for my little one for a fall sweater.

I made it - my second baby sweater! - and it was great. It is a quick knit, and easily seamed. You don't even need to do buttonholes - the garter stitch allows the buttons through. The pattern is very easy to read and follow, and if you have questions, Theresa is an MDC mama!
