I hate the word circumcision..........

not only for the obvious reasons but because I am seeing more and more how people dont associate the word with what it really means.

When they hear it the image of cutting a part of the penis off doesn't come into their mind. I think from here on out on other boards instead of saying circ I am going to use the words "cut part of the penis off" or maybe even penis reduction surgery since that is what it is.

I hope that made sense to people I just wanted to get my thoughts down and maybe see if others have noticed this as well.

True true, perhaps more people would think differently if they heard it that way?

I love that! When someone is pregant, you can ask, "Are you planning on doing the penis reduction surgery?"

So true! People object to the word mutilation. Why not call it like it is? But I like your humorous approach.

Penis reduction surgery is a very accurate phrase. How can it not be? You are removing something that is a sincere part of the penis. You cannot take anything away from something without reducing it. I think this phrasing would have special impact to fathers as size seems to matter to the male psyche.
