There's a section about WAH businesses on here that you should check out. I'm sure there will be a bunch listed.

Here is a link to the Biz Opp Reviews.
Just remember, in MLM (muli level marketing) something like 2% of people actually make a decent income. The rest just end up being customers. It's hard. IMO it's more profitable to do something on your own....why be in business for someone else when you can be in business for yourself.

I agree that you'll have a better response in the WAHM Well forum.
But everyone I know who has had a successful online business has been in business for themself. I know a lot of people who have dabbled with MLMs- Tupperware, Melaluca, Party Lite, Mary Kay, Beauticontrol, Pampered Chef, etc.- and I don't know anyone who has continued to do it for more than a couple of years. MLMs are hard work, and the profit margin is pretty small.

What interest and skills do you have? There are several ways to make money from home, especially if your looking at getting into a 'business'.
As said above, these forums have a lot of info too.
Good luck!

Well as far as skills go. I am a great photographer and I would like to start my own business shooting weddings, headshots, fashion shots for people in my area. I am very knowledgeable about Photography having worked in the fashion business for over 10 years. I would be great at that. the problem is I am 7 months pregnant and will have to wait until after baby is born in November. So, right now I am taking some photography courses just to learn as much as possible... SO... In the mean time I wanted some other way to make money. That's why I was wanting to do an online business. I don't care if I have to work for someone lese right now or the odds are 5% of the people make 95% of the money bc I work very hard and know I would make a ton of money IF I found a real legit business.. It just seems like as much as you see all the advertisements their aren't and REAL online businesses where you can make A LOT of money! Like they promise in their ads.
I will eventually start my own business but I have to dedicate at least a year to my 2nd child before going back to work away from home

I don't know how lucrative they end up being, but there are websites where photographers can put their pictures up for businesses to buy the rights to use. I've used Crestock.com and another one I can't remember the name of right now to get images for my websites. Like I said, I have no experience from the photographer's point of view to be able to say if it's worth the time or if you could make a living, but you might want to check it out.

I see your point. And you're right...they aren't real online businesses. You have to be out and talking to people...making presentations. I think you are looking for what most people are looking for and never find. If you find one, post it here b/c I want to know about it.

Not all of those home based businesses require you to be out making presentations, etc. Some have the option of simply putting banners on your blogs and you get a commission of sales.
