I stopped shaving when I was 17-18 so it's been 10 years for me.
I do an occasional summertime shave of the pits and lower leg but since winters seem to be 9 months long here, it doesn't last long (the shaving).

The hair in your armpits is supposed to trap pheremones ? which attracts a mate right?

Yes, I shave. And I don't plan on stopping any time soon...my husband would have a cow!

uh yeah. Both arms and leggs, and waxing my face parts too. Cuz if I didn't, I'd look like that picture of the bigfoot they stuffed in the ice chest listed on one of the other threads around here.

I've never had folliculitis but I know it' just another name for gigantic ingrown hairs. Both men and women get it. My husband was roommates with a guy who had it. Very painful. Huggs and kisses.. I know it hurts. I hope you get better soon.
