I'm planning a HBAC. Our EDD is August 6th, but given DS's size at birth, we'd be perfectly happy with baby coming anytime now! (that and we can't wait to meet and cuddle it)

I had a HBAC last time and I suppose I am having another, technically.

I don't really think of VBAC as being any different from any other vaginal birth.

I hope you are successful because its a much better way to give birth. I could see it in my baby and feel it in myself.

yeah, that is what my husband doesnt understand. He thought they would treat me differently once I had a vbac but I told him nope. I am due around August 27 & 29. It is nice to know about some august mamas who are vbacing too In my case, I dont feel comfortable having baby at home (cant afford a midwife either) so will vbac in hospital like I did the last time. Good luck to everyone vbacing.....it will be great to hear of vbac august mamas success:

I dont think of it much different either except for having to fight for it the way we do if you have a hospital birth.....i wish wish wish i could have a homebirth. We just literally dont have the money and they are not covered in alberta.

Yup, I just had an hbac. I was due 2nd week in August, but babe pushed the date to July 25th. It went wonderfully and I feel good.
