DS is 21 months. When we first started brushing DH and I were not too serious about actually getting the job done. Then, when we started realizing the importance of brushing at this age, we sort of just forced him to do it. He would cry and we would just comfort him as best we could but still get the brush in there and do it.
Lately, the pendulum has swung back and we are lucky if we get one swipe in followed by a sip of water (for some reason I feel better if he washes his mouth out at the end of the day).
So, what to do? He absolutely hates brushing. HATES IT! Right up there with Dr. visits. Any suggestions would be great. I don't want his teeth to fall out!!!!
