magknits patterns?

I've not picked up my needles in ages, and I find that Magknits is gone???

Well, I'm irritated. I want to knit Berry, can't find my copy of the pattern and now I need to figure out where I can find one!

Can anyone direct me? Surely someone somewhere has a copy of that pattern.

Hmmm... what did it look like?

I took a look on ravelry.com and I could come up with "very berry t-shirt" (looks like this: http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l2...ysen/berry.jpg)

Is that what you meant? If so, pm me and I can send you the pdf for that... otherwise, what kind of knit was it? Socks? a hat? sweater? They have all the MagKnits issues on there, so if you tell me which issue it was from (if you know) I can see if they have the pattern posted...

It seems that they have many of them on there in pdf form, if not all...

It seems that April was their last issue...

no clue what happened, but luckily most of the patterns are still available in one way or another...

you can use the wayback machine and get some of them archived. Some have pictures, some do not.... the people that had magknits have opened a new publication (print) but it's a bit pricey... the name escapes me right now.. I believe it's published in England though.

Yarn Forward. I wouldn't get excited, frankly- as a knitting magazine it's lightweight, as a source of patterns it's a bit dull.

I hardly thought that it would be worth the price....
