Hi. I'm still nursing my 17 mo DD and have had no AF but I'm almost positive O'd this month (4dpo) so can you add me to the 2WW. We're more nt/np than anything.

because! You can move me to Waiting to O! I suspected I ovulated on July 11th or so, and I did as I got my first PPAF on July 26. So, now CD6 of my first postpartum cycle. Temping and plan on using OPKs. dp and I would really, really like to conceive in the next 2 months for logistic/financial reasons, but we are read to welcome this next baby into our family whenever he/she is ready!

Still lurking around. We decided to try this month, I think I'm Oing in the next day or so. I've been waiting until Oct, but I have 40 day cycles. Dh is scheduled to be out of town on a business trip during the next O time and then the next cycle, I'll be 400 miles away for weeks for DD1's therapy. That would put us waiting until the very end of year before we could try. I'm not that hopeful, my LP has been under 10 days so far, you can keep me in waiting to be ready because I'm sure I still will be waiting!

Robin and Goin' Green, I'm about right there with you cycle wise. Had a little bit of EWCM and got excited, but no temps just yet...unless I had the pre-rise dip you talked about. It's confusing.

Monica, did you find vitex to affect your milk supply at all?

I took vitex to bring my cycle back and I didn't find it to affect mine at all. I stopped it once I had PPAF. I think I might be about to O now!!! I have been having the same cramping all day I had last month when I O'd, and dh and I just dtd and Man - talk about lube! Sorry if TMI! haha! I really hope this is it!!!

pitchfork- I can't see your chart. Your link is to the main page, not your individual chart. Also, from what I have heard of vitex, the sooner you are pp, the more it will affect your supply. Being that your LO is 2.5 now, I wouldn't think it would have as much effect, just guessing here though. I've also heard vitex wont affect your supply as much as pregnancy probably will.


I think I am feeling O now on my left side. I can't be sure cause I don't ever remember feeling this before, or at least never associated it with Oing, but it's like a light pressure/tightening on my left ovary. : I am so excited to be Oing after taking such a long time to get my ppaf!

Anyone else in here have short luteal phases? This past month I stumbled upon the fact that it's possible I do. I was temping and checking cp and cf *until I O'd* and then stopping. But, when I kept on checking all the signs, I think it's possible my pattern has a jump mid-cycle then another jump that's actually ovulation. Feel free to stalk my charts and let me know! (I HAVE manually adjusted my charts to where I think my O is even though it's possible it's really back at the first temp jump...)

me me me!! First PPAF was two months ago and I'm charting, EPOing and waiting to "O" for August. Apparently July was a no go so here's hoping for a BFP in August!!!

I've been trying to reduce the number of nursings in a day in addition to taking the vitex. I have noticed some decrease in milk supply on the non-favored breast. I don't know if it's due to the vitex or to the fact that DD isn't nursing as much.

I didn't notice how old your LO is, but DD is almost 3, so I am not concerned about having a lowered supply. I still heard gulping last night as she nursed from that breast, so it is still making some milk

Hi mamas, I'd like to re-join. I still have yet to see my first PPAF and I'm 14 mos pp. I'd like at least one PPAF before TTC baby #3. I was temping and charting for a while a few mos back then got discouraged and stopped. DS2 is still nursing pretty frequently.

Any suggestions for helping PPAF return?! It is very important to me to chart and have an exact O date and due date because this will be a closely monitored pregnanct due to DS2's heart defect.

I'm here. I'm Waiting to Know now thanks to a slightly delayed O this cycle (I only got to see H for two nights this month). Either it's because I had an early m/c last cycle or because ds2 has been nursing like crazy since we're on vacation and he's a little out of sorts.

I hope to see lots of bfps soon!!!

welcome jilian i wish i had some solid tips for you! am still no PPAF at 17 1/2 months..

some ladies on here have used vitex, and so maybe they can tell you about their experiences with that.

i got the advice from someone to try going 24 hours without nursing (just once is all that it should take). the "shock" to your system may be enough to jumpstart AF better than a gradual wean might. and then you could continue to nurse as normal (the one mama who advised me thus said she actually only made it 20 hours but AF returned anyway). i haven't been desperate enough to try that yet, although maybe in another month or two i will. we'd really like to be able to have a shot at TTC'ing when DS in 18 months -- and that's in two weeks. right now we are DTD, but dunno how effective it's going to be. am charting cervix position and CM a little but no temps. i don't have the heart to put all that work into it without knowing AF is around the corner. plus i don't think i get enough solid hours of sleep at night yet for it to be accurate.

anyway just wanted to say good luck and welcome and i hope you get PPAF soon!
