actually I think the chocolate craving is commonly a slight deficiency in magnesium.

I keep forgetting to take my cal/mag, so that's probably why. Chocolate is just more fun.

Tequila? Actually, I would think that tequila would taste better in that recipe anyway.

Otherwise, whiskey, since Bourbon is a form of it.

Yeah. Should be OK. Vodka wouldn't have very much flavour, and the others would all be sweet, so it's worth a shot.

Well after all that.. I decided to cook the steak I forgot I put in the fridge from the freezer two days ago. The fish I bought today so I will cook it tomorrow.

BTW... New Seasons had like no meat on sale.

coffee-flavored ice cream...:
my mama sez i was allergic to chocolate...i used to break out or something
but
i have always Loved it, Loved it, Loved it...as a teen and now, even though sweets are a rare thing anymore.
maybe there is something to that! very interesting...

Went to the orientation for the earned discount program for the VFS. It is not going to work for me. So it's full tuition for us. Oh well. I had figured as much.

I have found duct tape works much better for moving.

That was one of my favourite things to do as a kid... get just enough shampoo in my mouth to blow really amazing spit bubbles! My mom used to get so mad at me.

I'm on a horror movie kick lately; happens a couple months out of the year, usually. But instant netflix horror SUCKS! I actually watched the first hellraiser and the last freddy krueger, that's how slim the pickings are. Not the type of horror I usually go for. I've been saving Pan's Labyrinth until someone could watch it with me, and tonight is the night! Mom's coming over. I've seen it already, but it's sooo good.

OMG. I don't know if I can handle this bike building thing. I think I might lose my mind. Will I ever have a break again? Ever?

It is an interesting theory. My mother has been plagued by headaches for a long time. She has just now figured out that it might be tomatoes that she is allergic to (and possibly the other nightshades, too). She LOVES tomatoes and pretty much eats them on a daily basis.

At least she doesn't think I'm quite so crazy now for being allergic to cow's milk... (which I craved and ate to no end in college...)

Scary moment today. Jake fell down the stairs. We were going to go downstairs and he ran ahead of me and I didn't see him fall, just found him at the bottom of the stairs, crying Thank goddess there are no broken teeth or bones, just 4 big bruises on his face
I think we need to start closing the gate again.
