I'm glad you finally got your butt butt hole problem taken care of...

But, in theory, anyone with a computer could know about your undies, seeing as how this is a public message board and all.

Have a safe and superfun trip!

I shall be at Magnolia Park today. Looking forward to meeting others who can come as well. I will be wearing a head scarf and chasing a little blonde boy around!

Still trying to get out ourselves. Hoping to be there in around an hour or so if we make it!

Yeah, he told me! He said they were worried he wanted to manage because he has alot of high up experience, but Ron actually hates managing.

There was also a really good fit at Mahlon's company and Gary's company. Will one of these come through pleeeeze?

Hey everyone,
It's just occurred to me that I need to find a nanny or babysitter NOW to take over when my current babysitter goes back to high school in the fall. So I was wondering if anyone had any ideas or leads for me. I am looking for someone probably 2 days a week, I'm not sure of the days and can be somewhat flexible, it depends on what classes I sign the kids up for. It's mostly for Malia, who's 18 months old now, but also for Mateo, who's 4, but is going to school 4 afternoons a week. Ideally, the person would also be willing to do some light housework on the days that I don't have a lot of work to do. I'd consider an in-home daycare for Malia as well and then wing it for Mateo. Anyone know anyone who might fit the bill here?

The only thing that sucks about working part-time is finding someone to watch my kids!

Minta, where are you again, near Washington Square? I'm looking for a 'backup care' person in that area, and I know Lee is looking for a 2-3 day a week person in Mult Village. Is that close enough to you to share someone?

Yes, I'm a few miles from Washington Square. Lee responded to my post on the PDX thread and said that she knows someone that is looking for work. She's about 15 minutes from me and she said she is close to finding someone but I am further out in the burbs so it depends where the person she gets is coming from, etc.

Hey guys! While I was out hiking with the kids yesterday, I thought it would be fun to start a moms hiking group. If you'd be interested in going, head over and leave on comment on the blog I just made

http://oregonmoms.wordpress.com/

I'd like to start next week, and I'll post soon on there with an exact day.

What the %$&@$%& was THAT?!@!?! Did anyone else hear that? Or.. see it? It was loud, it was fast, and I was convinced it was about to crash into our roof. Or shoot a missile into it or something. It came and went so fast I couldn't even run to the window in time to see what it was.

Maybe a jet? I was on the phone with a friend yesterday, and she said that a jet was flying super duper close over her house. She lives in Hillsboro, just by Orenco Station.

ETA: Ha! Yes. Another friend just posted on her LJ, saying the jets are flying, practicing for the air show.
