Hi Dingos! I have missed you, and just finished reading through the whole thread (if I missed two birth stories, you know I have been out of touch a while!).
Moonshine, Go Go Go! I hope it helps you quit for good!
mothercat, good luck and fast healing.
Gigi, I have the same kind of issues with the calories, but I have never had my hormones checked. I feel the same about tracking food though. For me, it's better to pay attention in my head. And be real.
Lisa, wow. You amaze me.
JenLove, it looks like we are going to be at the cabin (west of Crivitz) maybe tonight to tomorrow...maybe tomorrow to Sunday AM...not sure yet. Going out on the boat with mom and dad. I'll scout and maybe in fall we could meet there.
All the rest of you Dingos, you rock.
This has been a nutty week. I had jury duty Mon, and was fortunate not to be selected for a case that was scheduled to take 2-3 days, and it was a subject matter that was disturbing.
On the same day, the carpet guys came and put the carpet in upstairs. And my mom was here, and she mowed my whole lawn. With the push mower.
Then dh went out and bought ds a bed. And it was awful. So he took it back, but apparently was not able to get a full refund ("restocking fee").
Then, there was an accident on a major nearby highway during day's end rush, and traffic was detoured to our road...and there were two subsequent accidents on our road.
: And then I finally got the big NO on my telecommute proposal, so I offered my third-place solution of going back to PT.
Which they accepted. I start PT next week, with Fridays off. Keeping my hourly rate, reducing my daycare demand, and getting Fridays with dd. Also keeping my benefits. Only caveat is that, if they decide I have to go back to FT and I don't want to, and they don't want to offer me a telecommute day, I have to make a tough decision.
RR: Nope, nada. I have been exhausted and the healing strain is feeling weak. Ramadan begins Monday, and I am tentatively planning to approach each evening with an "uphill walk" on the treadmill...since they usually morph into some running. If I can do that 4-5 nights a week, I will be really pleased.
Lots planned for the weekend. Besides the cabin and Ramadan starting, we will be putting more chickens in the freezer, getting ds's stuff ready for school, and finishing moving stuff upstairs...and maybe paint my office/treadmill room. It never stops.
