how one positive comment just makes your day
I was in 'the-store-that-shall-not-be-named' getting groceries, I had Aldria on my hip in the sling...
Well she started to get fussy (I was taking too long, buying a present for my friends DD) so I slipped into the boys dept and situated her in the sling so I could nurse...I threw the tail over my shoulder because I wasn't wearing a nursing friendly shirt so I had to go out the top
so my whole breast would have been exposed otherwise
I get her situated and start to go on my way when this older woman employee (I'd guess 60's or 70's) asked if I was nursing...preparing for a battle I said yes.
And she says "Oh, I think thats WONDERFUL. I fed all mine that way. I think it's the best thing for them."
Then she looks at my sling and says "I didn't have anything near that handy though. You have your hands free and that fabric there to keep people out of your business. Never would've worked with my husbands family, if I put a blanket over mine they had to come peek at them. It was embarrassing the first couple of times, but then you just get used to it I suppose."
I love positive comments.
