it was a great lecture (what else do you call it? it wasn't a performance). Anyway, there were 10,000 people in attendance in Portland, OR. A very big crowd. He'd a great motivational speaker. Talked about the dying dinosaurs, the 35% minority of white men in this country who own and control everything. 60% of the country is women or people of color. He pointed out that we're in a unique position to over throw those numbnuts and the polls show it. They're scared and unhappy, even though they own everything. But the problem is out leaders are weak and think they have to be pretend conservatives to get elected. He said now is the time to contact our 'leaders' and tell them that we want them to be better. We want them to be pro-choice and support the environment. Otherwise they're pretty good guys. Mike didn't like any of the candidates who supported the war
. I'd seriously consider voting for anyone Mike More thinks is worthwhile, but at this point, we've got a year to pummle those guys into shape. Tell them, I'm trying to decide who I want to vote for, don't support any of them right now, and tell them what you're looking for in a candidate. This was Mike's advice.

the guy. I saw him speak at my brother's college graduation years and years ago, and since then, have been a fan.
