SORRY I MEANT SATURDAY!!!! LOL!!!

Happy Weekend! :

any plans? how are you feeling?

My dad and niece are going back to Panama today in a few hours... So disappointed that they are not going to meet the baby before they leave but in a way I am happy because I'll have more privacy throughout my birth My mom is staying til Nov. to help out. I think the babe was waiting for them to leave to be born...

Last night I woke up literally moaning and arching because of a painful contraction, I think baby finally turned to it's final position (LOA). I thought it was it, but nope. The pain went away, but I was still contracting throughout the night. WOAH! I told myself... is that the way real contractions feel? THEY ARE FREAKING PAINFUL!!!!

Don't have many plans for once this weekend. Just trying to clean the house/fold laundry/entertain the 4 yr old. Ugh, her bedroom is a wreck! Tomorrow I think we are having a movie day, since its supposed to hit 100 degrees here and I won't let DH work on the upstairs (that has no a/c) in that heat.

I don't have too many plans. Today I'm taking ds to a birthday party (one of my good friend's little boys). Other than that, we are going to try to stay cool because it is supposed to be really hot and humid. I think I'm going to put dh to work bringing in things from the garage that baby needs.
Enjoy your weekends everyone!!

Today is my DD's 3rd b-day-so we're prepping for a little bbq with some friends/family, and that's about it. MIL arrived from the ashram a couple of days ago, and it's been amazing having her around-Evvie loves her to bits, and we've had some downtime (much needed!)
Other than that, not much. We decided on a HB (yippee)! so we have a few things to pick up/prepare.

No plans this weekend other than a movie with dh today

I had a couple of good contractions overnight that woke me up. I actually got a decent night's sleep too! I went to bed around midnight and ds didn't wake me till 8am! (of course there was the hourly getting up to pee) Its much better than the 4am to 8am I got the night before.

No more mucous or anything today. I'm trying very hard not to think on it too much and just let things go.

36w1d.

No plans for the weekend. Am two kids short ... one is at the camp with my dad and stepmom; one is with my brother and his wife. The girl child and I had "girls night" last night and went and got manicures and pedicures and had a nice dinner together at my favorite Thai restaurant. (DH is a resaturant manager so he works nights.)

Might go swimming today ... I don't know.

So far I've vacuumed under all of the appliances, helped dh move a sofa out of our sunroom and into his office and wiped off the cabinets. Ever since I've hit 9 months I've been feeling a lot more like myself (and less like I've been run over) and that's very nice. I'm hoping to wash all of my sheers today and then I want to get the windows washed (does it take anyone else 6 months of procrastination before you wash your windows?) before the munchkin comes.

Kids are with my mom for the weekend. It's their first overnight (2 nights!) without us (and they're 5 and 7!) Getting tons done today. Tons. Ordered the boys new mattresses which were desperately needed, returning library books, gift thanks yous, post office, donating old clothes, home depot, etc., etc., ....

Also still grappling with my vbac / repeat c-section issues. (See vbac forum if you're interested, though its getting pretty depressing.)

Drank my first glass of pregnancy wine this weekend, yum. Had tuna for the third time. So I guess I relaxing a bit with the pregnancy restrictions (though I've been *very* relaxed about caffeine, tums, and the occasional benadryl all along!)

Still trying to get my iron up. Have a good weekend all!

Not much going on here. Was up pacing the house again last night, didn't go to bed until 3AM again then woke up at 9AM without a problem. My legs hurt from all the pacing. boo

I have a birthday party for my friends six year old step-daughter this afternoon. I haven't bought a present because I don't know what to buy a six year old who is raised really mainstream. I need to call my friend and ask. The party is a BBQ/pool party so I'll just float around being lazy. The man's not going, he'll probably golf with his dad.

Today, we will take a walk with dh, the new babe and dd9 and ds7 to the creek and go fishing for a while. Then I might try to tackle half of the couch full of laundry while the babe sleeps this afternoon. The kids will probably swim this evening. Tomorrow we will go have a bbq with my parents and my neice and her two kids. Sometimes its so odd to have great nephews and neices older than your own kids.
A word of encouragement to all of the waiting moms to be:
Once your babe is here it seems like the wait was no time at all and the babe has been here forever. Each moment seems like an hour. Keep up the good spirits.

DH will take me and DS out for sushi later :. One last time the three of us before babygirl will be born on the 11th. I also went to four garage sales this morning and got some cute stuff (not that I don't already have enough).

oh wow : Thai and Sushi!!! I love love those!!!

I am keeping low key this weekend, I wish we had $ for sushi... We are living on a really tight budget these 2 months of summer since hubby is a teacher, I am not working and he only got a little job as a summer instructor and didn't pay as much as he makes during school year... boohoo

Hit the grocery store this am. DH is working, so it is just like another day. Feeling tired, but I do want to sew when the kiddos are napping, so I haven't decided what to do. Need to put my feet up to avoid swelling. I plan to make a few more freezer meals. Have to finish packing my hospital bags...haven't decided if I am going to use cloth at the hospital this time or not.

DH and I ate Thai last night too! Today we are cleaning up, hanging out, being lazy... I would love for dd to arrive while he has the whole weekend off, but I am not getting my hopes up. Going to see Wall-E tonight

37w6d here. sooooooo close!

today is my birthday! my husband and I are going to see the new X Files movie (I WANT TO BELIEVE! I WANT TO BELIEVE! - don't laugh, I'm a huge x-phile) and then get kiddo and do a thai picnic dinner at the park. I'm so excited!

otoh, DS thought it'd be stellar to wake us up this morning at 4am shouting "happy birthday mommy! happy birthday mommy! are your friends coming over mommy?" but he's so cute, you can't resist. heh

Yum! You guys are making crave sushi and thai! And I just ate a yummy lunch, too. Made a ranch-bacon-cheese-chicken wrap with yellow tomatoes I got at the farmers market this am. Very tasty!

I tried to take the boys for haircuts this am, but the barbar had an hour wait, so we went to the farmers market instead. Picked up a pint of gorgeous KS grown blackberries, local corn on the cob, tomatoes, and watermelon. The BBs were $4.50 a pint, ouch! And we've already eaten most of them....

Just hanging out at home today. Will try to go to church tomorrow, we haven't been in awhile so I'm sure they think we had the baby.

It's super hot here, too. 102, last time I looked!

LOL! We had sushi last night! :

I am puttering around the house today trying not to go outside unless necessary. It's supposed to hit 102 degrees today. Already it feels like 105 degrees. And they are predicting 107 degrees on Monday.

I feel so bad for DH. He decided this was the week to tear down our old fence and put up a new one. It's my job is to keep them supplied with Gatorade and water.

I've unpacked and repacked my hospital bag since I now have the few last items I was missing. I'm resting a bit before folding diapers.

I'm not having any contractions, just a lot of hard movement. Midwife thinks I'll go past my EDD. We'll see. :

: Happy Birthday, Alathia!!

My kids are w/ my folks in New Mexico, so it's been a very...quiet weekend so far. I had my massage last night which did me a world of good - I feel kind of re-centered and ready to take on these last two weeks. I am 38 weeks today, which is a nice feeling, too.

The weather here has gone from low to mid 80's to mid-90's - it's HOT I've been spoiled with a mild summer so far, so I can't really complain, but man, it's hot.

Today my H and I ran a bunch of errands and he'll head into work at 4. I'm still unpacking and organizing from our move and then I'll have to find something for myself for dinner and I might rent a movie or something. I also have started to teach myself to sew, so I might work on a project this evening, too.

Tomorrow we're meeting my parents and the kids at the golf club thing they belong too - it's about 2 hours away, but there's a great outdoor pool that's been calling my name for a few months now, so I'm looking forward to that. Then it's back to work on Monday - one more week closer to maternity leave!

I've noticed that AKA_PI hasn't posted here today. She's usually always online, right? I wonder if she is just busy or if she's BUSY
