FO toe up thigh highs

Finished my toe up thigh highs with afterthought heels.....using 4 skeins cascade sassy stripes and one 50g ball of cream colored sock yarn.

THANK YOU!!!

I love to wear skirts and let my bits breath, but I have arthritic ankles and knees and winter kills me. So I thought wool stockings were the solution. I knit from the toe up on two circulars so that I could try them on as I went. I kept careful notes of what I did so I could make the second stocking the same. Now I have to find a garter belt to keep them up, lol.

Wow. I just can't imagine knitting something that long. I'm so impressed! I hope you enjoy every minute of wearing them

Wow, those are fantastic. So much work! I'm impressed. If I was working on those it would probably take me 3 years to finish.

It was pretty mindless because it was stockinette, but I had to work to get into the habbit of using the counter so I didn't forget the increases every 10 rounds....then the decreases every 5 rounds.

It's self striping yarn The only ends were at the color changes for the heel, cuff, and toe
