my mom and DH say I dropped since yesterday!

Don't you drop closer to labor with 2nd babies? I know I dropped at 36 weeks or so with my first pregnancy, but I thought I read somewhere that with subsequent pregnancies you drop later and closer to labor.

Eek! I was 2cm dilated and 50% effaced on Thursday, and my belly was measuring 39 weeks. Maybe she wants to make her appearance soon!

I do think it takes longer to drop with additional births. But then again, look at Megan! Ouch!

I hear that usually 2nd and more don't drop until right before labor.

I dropped about 2 weeks ago and this is my third

Oh Megan, I'm sorry! I can imagine that doesn't feel good at all. I had to leave the grocery store this morning and go sit in the car because I felt like my uterus was being pulled down...not only was I having the sharp cervix pains, but the sharp uterus pains, too. Not contractions, just stretching pain. No fun!

I am not sure why that is, because seriously, my other 2 never dropped until they were born and this one (my 3rd) has dropped wks ago. It's very uncomfortable but at the same time I kinda take every change in my body as the miracle of life that is coming... call me masochist I guess BRING IT ON!!!!!!
