Moms that are almost due - what kind of discharge are you having?

I'm just wondering if increased discharge is a sign of something happening or not... not talking about bloody show - just lots more discharge around here...

So do you remember what was going on with your discharge in the week or two before labor?

I'm still 3 weeks off, but I had a check up yesterday, and asked about it. I have lots of clear to whitish discharge and my nurse practitioner said it normal and just a sign of mucus changes.

i had increasing white discharge starting about 2 weeks ago (i'm 37 weeks today) and in the last couple of days the volume seemed to step up a bit and was a little more yellowish...and little bit thicker. i'm assuming this is my mucous plug starting to fall out but I know that not mean much since it can replenish itself.

My discharge looks like sticky bun icing and at 38w is coming in... like... buckets. Seriously.

REALLY GROSS- I sleep without undies or pants and I was up in the middle of the night the other night, so I sat on the couch with my bare tushie I didn't even think of it at the time and when I got up from sitting there was a BIG WHITE STRIPE on my couch.

Yeah, I shampooed it. Anyway, don't do what I did.

Lots more, creamish and white. And twice I've gotten pieces of plug that were yellow snot and clearly not just discharge.

I passed another 'snot' looking strip just now too... but now for sure I know I am in prelabor, cntx are getting pretty uncomfortable now

I've lost my mucous plug once so far. The last two times I lost it twice before the real deal.

But even the regular stuff is more yellow, a bit more viscous.

Starting this afternoon I've been having brownish discharge. It's not enough to be on my underwear (sorry for the TMI) but it's a noticeable amount on the toilet paper. It looks like old blood.

It's so diffrent for me this time. last time around this time I had a lot and it was white and stretchy, this time it's pretty dry.
Hummm.. feels kind of strange broadcasting this to the net lol
