Small food containers?

I need something to hold some chopped fruit or yogurt in dd's lunchbox without leaking everywhere. I've looked at the laptop lunches but I don't like the lack of lids. Dd likes messy foods, lol. So air tight is a must. Do these exist in the non plastic world??

We use recycled containers ... I'll occasionally buy yogurt or something in single servings (TREAT), and we keep those containers. Whenever I do get something like that, I specifically look for products that are sold in some type of container that I could re-use. Same with take-out containers.

If you don't have anything like that at all, then you could ask around to your mainstream friends for theirs??

what about baby food jars?? or would glass be a problem?

our Montessori school recommends the lunchopolis lunch box and storage set...

ETA: nevermind, I see you want non-plastic, and the lunchopolis is plastic--though BPA-free.

Ooh! Great idea...I'll have to ask around.

We love our tiffins: small or large stacking stainless steel containers that can be fitted into a carrying brace. Ours are from an Indian grocery; an Indian restaurant; and India. We also use mason jars for leftovers that stay at home.

Small jelly jars work great for us. Pyrex makes the storage containers with lids, not sure how small they go but they are pretty durable.

We have some stainless containers that are similar to these. And now that I've found this site, I'm going to order some more!
