Dark Stool on Day 7???

DH said baby had a couple dirty diapers that looked like remnents of meconium. She'd been having yellow (normal) stools up until that point. I read one source that said to call the doctor if she had anything other than yellow stool after day 4??

Should I? Shouldn't I??

Are your nipples cracked/bleeding? If so, she could have ingested a small amount of blood, that can darken stools. If you're worried about it, I would call the doctor.

Is it green? I heard at a LLL meeting that green poop means too much foremilk. Every once and a while DD has a greenish poop but I don't really worry about it, I figure a little "too much" foremilk here and there is not detrimental to her health.
