Ink on Leather

So my dog ate a pen. On my leather couch. Grrrrrrr.......

Fortunately there aren't a lot of ink marks, and it is blue ink on brown leather so it doesn't show up a whole lot, but I would definitely prefer if it wasn't there.

I have tried Method Leather Cleaning Wipes, which is what I usually wipe down the couches with as needed, but it didn't touch it in the slightest. Does anyone have any ideas as to what might get out the pen without damaging the couch? (It in on one of the seating areas, if that makes any difference.)

Thanks!

I've had success getting ballpoint ink off with nail polish remover. *Of course* check to see if this works on an inconspicuous part first.

I have a protection plan on our leather and when we got tons of ink marks I made a claim. It came out, but so did the color of the leather. The guy had to re-dye it. Keep in mind though, we had so much ink on the back of the sofa that it looked like someone had sat down with a ball point pin in their pocket and took a 7 day nap. I was so pissed.

My mom says to wash leather with Ivory Soap. My parents are bikers and that's how they wash their leathers . You could give that a try.
