Please Read this.... Cervix check related....

I feel like a total loser asking this. I dont even know if its an issue or not. Could be that I dont know my cervix well at all. But you ladies always know so much and what is there to lose right?!

I was checking my cervix tonight courtesy of a post here that explained how to do it... When I reach into my vagina and go toward the back, *think* I feel my cervix which is soft and at the bottom of it is a bubble. It feels like a cyst of something... Definately fluid filled squishy skin like material.

What is it?! Should I be concerned. Obviously the first thing that popped into my paranoid crazy head is that I have cancer and am dying.... (I know I need to relax...lol) but seriously its drving me crazy.

It doesnt hurt, its not huge or anything, but what is it?! Could it just be skin folds? Does everyone have that? Is it pregnancy related?

You can get bumps on your cervix, kinda like a pimple. Also, before you start dilating, you can get a "dimple" in your cervix.

I would ask your doctor. Its probally no biggie. If you dont know what your looking for in there you probally just mistake it for something normal. I say stay out of your vagina! Silly girl.

Its probably nothing to worry about.

As far as doing self checks they are generally safer than having someone else in there.

Yeah totally sounds like your waters bag If it's a little bump most likely it's a nabothian cyst

Pretty sure it's not cancer and you're not dying!!

My first thought was amniotic sac, but I have no idea. It was probably just a fold of skin or something, everything feels fluid filled in there!

If I were you I'd just keep my fingers away from the cervix and ask my HCP at my next appointment.

It's probably a cyst. I can't remember off the top of my head, but they're talked about in TCOYF and are totally normal.

Thanks Ladies!! I have an appt to see her on Wed morning so I am asking her for sure. Although Im not exactly sure how to word it.... "So I was just feeling around in my vagina...." LOL. Oh well.
