One of my 3 kids started with pox last night... chances are the others will follow (my two youngest were exposed at the same time... so the other should follow suite asap) but we might have another exposure chance in a few weeks if my oldest gets them too.
Anyways... Im in southern NH... half hour from nashua and manchester if anyone wants to catch some chicken pox!!!!

Us Us!! Birthday party is this Sat, but we can come have a pox party on Sunday or Monday? Message me privately here or at cmkp1 @yahoo.com(no space) and we can set up a time! thanks!!!

Just wanted to update... my youngest just started last night, so we are on child number 2, and officially contagious again for the week... if anyone wants to come over for a lolli.

Mary, did you go and hopefully bring them to Dover? We're still looking for them for my youngest.

And one of these days we'll get together!!!

It looks like we missed our window! I'm hoping that they turn up again soon.
I check in periodically to watch the thread but not often enough.

We actually thought we had the pox yesterday but it turns out it was an allergic reaction to amoxicillin. No fun.

There is a very good possibility we have Chicken Pox! DS has had two kids in his daycare have CP, one came down with it Feb 5-8ish and the other came down with it Feb 19-22ish. He has some small spots on his body, not yet looking like CP, but the same thing happened when DD had it. He has also had the runny nose and looks flushed and is cranky. Thought I would give a 'heads up' to see if anyone is interested in coming over if we do have it. We live in Kingston, NH.

wansn't really planning on him getting this now, but can't be helped. I guess this means he may get it again later as I am still breastfeeding! (DS is 6mths and DD is 2 1/2yrs, so DD will be happy to play with anyone)

There's a case of the pox in my kids' school (Central Vermont)! The parents aren't willing to "share" but I'm hopeful it's spread and we'll soon have several options. And maybe this means that there are other cases around too.

We went to a chicken pox party yesterday, so hopefully we'll be able to hold our own sometime in the next three weeks (Central Vermont area) -- fingers crossed!

No luck on our exposure. We also tried the shingles route and should know soon about that, but the sores were pretty much healed so I'm not too sanguine.
Anyone else? There must be pox in Vermont!
Thought we had them but it turned out to be a random rash. Hoping we find them somewhere!!

Watching anxiously!

I've been scouting the surrounding 'tribe' threads for pox: there is a family who has it right now in Malden MA (just north of Boston) and they are open to playdates. I'm considering going down but its a three hour drive. Anyone else have a reason to go?
4babes, where are you located, and when were you thinking of going? I might be up for a road trip! I am in Burlington and could go next weekend if they still have spots. I could have easily gone down this weekend if I had known. Dang!
They're contagious through Wednesday, probably -- definitely tomorrow. Sounds like that's out for you. I'm trying to convince myself that it's worth the drive.

You haven't heard of any cases in Burlington, have you? I saw on the Department of Health monthly report that there were 9 cases in Chittenden county in April. Wishing I knew one of them.

I'm in Middlesex, so easy striking distance for you if we do get it!

We did go down and will hopefully be popping in a couple weeks: the pox were drying up fast, though, so I'm not sure. Fingers crossed.

There are pox on the South Shore right now (just south of Boston) -- see the Massachusetts tribe thread.
