Chicken pox

If anyone gets them and can share, I would be indebted forever....I would PAY a hefty sum for a lollipop and tee shirt to be overnighted too!

still waiting

I am so excited to hear about her son breaking out. We also exposed the next day and Kim we are so so grateful. So far nothing but I wasn't expecting anything until the end of the week. I am more than happy to fed-ex lollipops or t-shirts. I am also expecting if the little guy gets them his older brothers will in weeks to come.

Funny side note. We went to see friends in St. J today and her 8 year old has the chicken pox and they can't figure out where they got them!!

YEAH!! Looks like we have them. I keep seeing little spots coming out and they can't all be bug bites! So in a few weeks the older boys should have it as well.
Anyone who wants to come over tomorrow after lunch is welcome. I live in Worcester VT.

we have NOTHING at this point

we are leaning towards not getting it--but I do know we have time---

PUMPKIN, could you post a time line--using # or ABC to show who exposed and who has it? just wondering

is this some SUPER strain in VT that within 14 days this many have broken out???????

I think I have most people straight. Here goes:

DS broke out on 6/12
Child A (accidental exposure) exposed 6/12, spots on 6/25: 13 day incubation
Child B exposed 6/14, spots on 6/28: 14 day incubation
Children C (6 kiddos) exposed 6/15, spots on 6/28: 13 day incubation (not sure if all 6 have spots)
Child D exposed 6/15, no spots yet 13 days incubation so far
Children E (2 kiddos), exposed 6/15, have not heard from them, 13 days incubation so far
Child F exposed 6/16, no spots yet (saw them today). 12 days incubation so far.

There are also a few that I have not heard from, so am assuming that they don't have them yet. Looks like a good strong strain though, with such a high percentage catching them.

Remember, he incubated them for 22 days, so you are still within the time frame to potentially get them. Sending spotty thoughts your way, and by the way, I LOVE the card you sent to him! Where on earth did you find it?

the WAIT is killing us--------I do know I broke out on the 28th day!!


the elephant----and DO spin the wheel!!!!

I found it YEARS ago and I have a stash of old cards---the only one like that--figured one day I could use it and I did!!!

don't see those these days in the Hallmark stores--I wonder WHY???

Sorry about that, I put you guys in there. You are letter "D" I really should have written everyone down. Things got so crazy there for a while. A sick kiddo, and so many visitors that I am not likely to ever see again. What a whirlwind of a week! Off to add more that I just remembered!

Oh, I wanted to add that the child that DS got them from incubated them for 18 days and the child that she got them from incubated them for 18 days as well. You are still WELL within the time frame to come down with them. I will definitely still be stalking this thread for at LEAST another week or so!

Day 12 and waiting

My older boys are on day 12 from when the youngest broke out. We are keeping our fingers crossed for moderate cases. Should be a bunch of kids breaking out soon b.c I know 4 kids in Montpelier that exposed LOTS of kids in town and we exposed a good number too...

We got a package from Pumpkin although we did not get the pox. Although, my ds (17 mos) did have a bug bite looking rash coming and going right around spot sprouting time but no blisters.

We just got another box today...which happens to have come about because of a box from Pumpkin.
