I know you can see some spotting and some see an actual mucus plug.. etc.

I haven't seen what I believe is mucus plug however I have had more discharge.

Today after feeling all sorts of cervical pains etc. went to the bathroom and saw a streak of a little bit of blood...


So I went for a nice walk to see if I could get anything going.. well see

could that be a bloody show as well? Should that mean labor will be soon? If so, how soon?

Could be. Mine came out in one big blob with dd and in streaks with ds as I used the restroom.

I think it happens differently for everyone. Blood is generally the result of the cervix dilating. So.. I would say that it means your cervix is dilating but that does not necessarily mean you'll go into labor now or a week from now.

It's so frustrating when all of these "signs" may or may not mean anything.

just now I finally saw what a real mucous plug is! I never saw it with my daughters... Mine wasn't brown but clear/white with blood (not so red) strings and it was like a mucous/snotty looking! Now after I go to the bathroom (after the mucous plug) I see some more spotting... so yours looks like it is the plug
