Julie, those are friends of yours? I think they are awesome for being as brave as they are. It just makes me sad that we are still talking about this, sad that so many people still think it is their right to pass judgement on how other people live their lives... that all of this is still an issue. I am not patient.

KM, yes, Toby is a friend of mine. I don't really know Jean that well. Toby said that she didn't know until she read the article about their neighbors who were planning on moving because of them. That's kind of like a white family moving because a black family moved in down the block.

That is dreadful...send them my kind thoughts and I'm psyched they were willing to stand up and be proud despite how their neighbors feel. Their neighbors are losing out...I feel sorry for them.
