My mom gave me this for Christmas and I absolutely love it. Gorgeous illustrations and very sweet ideas inside. Plus it's just structured enough so that I can be creative about what I include...
This is the prettiest carrier, and fit my shoulders and figure (at 5'6") much better than the Ergo. I got it when my daughter was about nine months, two years ago - it doesn't appear to have...
This potty is great - excellent value & performance! (plus it's cute!) My 9 month old DS took to it right away. He is a big boy (30 in. tall - feet not quite on floor - & 27 lbs.) and this is...
To anyone looking for a carrier, BECO is the brand!
I recently had purchased the Gemini, great carrier! It has everything you will ever need and want, its ergonomic, comfy, organic, made...
Didn't know quite where to post this. Does anyone know of a store or site that sells cheap baskets? I need all shapes and sizes to organize a linen closet and basement stair storage. TIA for any suggestions
You might try a craft store, like Michael's, Joanne's Fabric or Hobby Lobby. I can usually pick up baskets on sale in those stores for a few bucks each.
sueZvudu-thanks for your suggestion. I've gotten a few big sturdy ones at IKEA, not cheap, but inexpensive. They have good big ones for toys and such. I'll check Michael's this weekend.
kate42-thanks for your reply. I will hopefully be able to get to Michael's this weekend. We just moved to a new house this summer, and I feel a MAJOR organization is a-comin'!
I don't know if you have a ShopKo near you but they have cheap baskets. I got a set of 5 one large, two medium, and two smallish for $20. Regularly $40 and recently on sale for $16. Can't hardly beat that. Oh, and they were lined which makes them look nicer. They have tons of baskets. We have them all over the house and they so far have stood up to my children abuse. my dh has banned any more rubbermaid from entering the house :LOL so baskets it is, but we are still on a rubbermaid budget.
I second the dollar store, I have been able to find all kinds of great organization baskets, blocks, etc at places like Dollar Tree, Dollar General, Family Dollar, etc...
Mama2kimmy-thanks. I LOVE the Dollar Store. I've always liked it, but lately I've found myself there a lot. I just bought dishtowels there the other day. Thanks!
Our local thrift stores always have a good selection of baskets for cheap! I've also gotten some good ones at Target (when I needed some to match for open shelving).
Happy organizing!
I yard sale, and it seems like every one I go to has a million baskets. You might looking at those. I usually see them for 25 cents to a couple of bucks.
Thanks, Ladies. My house needs much more help than just baskets, but this is my start. I just can't seem to stay on top of the mess lately. We just moved into a new house 3 months ago and it feels like we haven't gotten that much done.
My DH put a moratorium (sp?) on wicker at one point. He's anti-wicker. So, I have to choose my baskets carefully
