As if moms who put all their kids in school are somehow perfect parents? As if teachers never have "bad days"?
I intend to homeschool because I know my child very well, and even when we're both having a bad day at home, I know it's still way better than a "so-so day" at school for her. (And respecting my own limitations and my children's personalities, I'm putting my other two kids into school.)
If anything, I have to deal with much less paperwork and "outside expectations" for my HSed child. School application forms, helping DS with homework that's completely different than anything I would have personally selected for him, getting paperwork from the dr to send to the school,- all that is way more work for me than the paperwork required for HSing in NYS.
