This past semester I used an empty room in my University's Student Health Center to pump. I want to write a letter to express my gratitude, but am not sure what to include.
I am grateful, because the room had hot water, a chair, and privacy. If it had not been for the room, I would have been in a stall in a public restroom, standing, avoiding the toilet, without hot water.
Any ideas on what I should include?
This is what I have thusfar:
This past semester I used an empty room in the Student Health Services building in order to express breast milk for my son. I am extremely grateful that this room was made available for my use.
In instances that mothers are separated from their children, it is very important that breast milk is expressed. The room provided peace and quiet while I expressed milk. It certainly helped my son and I maintain our nursing relationship. I am extremely appreciative.
