I was wondering what some of you do with your scrap material. I'm talking about stuff that is odd shaped and stuff that is smaller than say 5x5 inches. I feel bad throwing it away but I don't have a use for it and would just really rather have it out of my house. I also have some old wipes that I am no longer using. Toss them? I don't have a use for them either. If I were to keep them, they would just end up in a box somewhere taking up some more of my very small amount of storage space. TIA.

What about a crazy quilt? Then your scraps would be useful.
I usually just give my bigger scraps to my husband to use as shop rags. The smaller ones reside in the bottom of my sewing basket, waiting for *me* to get on the ball with a crazy quilt.:LOL

I was going to say crazy quilt too. They are easy and can be very special. When I was a child, I had a crazy quilt made from scraps. I loved it because there were squares with the same fabric as some of her dresses and some of my dresses. It was really special and I still remember how my mom looked in those dresses. I still have the quilt, actually.

you can do soooo much with patchwork with scraps! Here's a list of things I've made..
purses & bags
drawstring bags for gift giving
potholders (using cotton batting)
patchy blankets & baby quilts
needlecases & scissor holders
headscarves
headbands
placemats
reusable napkins
pillows & zafus
I also save all my trimming scraps and use those for stuffing!
The list is really endless, just use your imagination!
Hope this helps!
