prodomal labor...I think

it is prodomal........it woke me up tonight and is very intense. Radiating from back to front very low down and i end up holding my breath it is so painful. I refuse for it to be labor and am thinking it is the prodomal like i said. It travels down my hips too into the thighs. I had this with dd2 about 2 days before i went into labor and when i did go into labor it went from nothing to active labor and very fast. I refuse for it to be anything else because I am in Calgary with a friend on vacation and we go home today. They havent gotten the results of the gbs test today so i would be on automatic antibiotics and baby would be 3 weeks early. No....it is prodomal i am sure but it feels like exactly how it did with labor with dd2. It sounds like prodomal doesnt it? Geez, this is my 4 baby (1 miscarriage) and i STILL cant tell the difference? I forgot to add that they seem to be 6 or 7 minutes apart......still sounds like prodomal right?

Real or not?

I've given up playing this game!

Sending you some "stay in for just another day" vibes! :

I had so much prodromal labor this time... I was sure I'd deliver before 37 weeks, but my babe didn't come until 38 weeks, 3 days! Hope you get home! I wasn't sure it was the real deal until my water broke... I was so happy to have a definitive sign after weeks of, "Is this is?!" Good luck!!

That is why I am not sure. The contractions keep happening between 8-10 and when they happen they are back to front low down and I have to stop what I am doing and kneel down. That is what happened with dd2 the day before I went into labor. The pain is so intense I have to stop what I am doing and breathe through them. I am just not sure what to do. We are in Calgary and have a 3 hour drive ahead of us. I dont want to have anything happen on the drive, and I dont want to go to the hospital here....I am a vbac and if i go in with real labor too early they will try to start all the interventions. That is why I am trying to figure out if it is real or not. If I was at home, I would be able to relax and see if they peter out or not kwim?

When do you leave to go home? Maybe you should leave a little ahead of schedule, just so you can relax.

Also, be sure to stay hydrated --- extra hydrated. Maybe that will help.
