HeartNBones... I SO had a feeling about you, ::::

Ellie and Coco - you two are so brave, I wish you so much luck with your little babies.

I don't know if I have what it takes to go through what you are going through. I admire your dedication, and the way you can open yourselves to the possibility of anything happening (like twins -eek )

Lots and lots of good vibes to you all!

I'M ON MY 2 WEEK WAIT!

So here's my day yesterday:

Wake up at 5, get DP to the hospital at 5:45, go back with her to her room, they take her to surgery at 7:30 to laproscopically remove her ovary and fallopian tube. Leave hospital, switch babysitters for our 4 year old, go to my iui appointment at 9, back to the hospital to wait for DP to be out of surgery, 2 hours later we're headed home. We nap until 5, wake up and drive 2 hours to the Melissa Etheridge concert! Drive home at midnight last night, working 8-5 today DP is resting comfortably until Friday before she heads back to work.

I have been tracking everything possible to see if this will work! My BBT was up this morning, my CM was great (the doc said so)... I'm just going to drive myself nuts for the next two weeks! I was cramping on and off yesterday, and was worried every time I went to the bathroom that something was going to come out-even though I know that's not how it works

This group really helps a lot, seeing what everyone else is going through! Good luck to you all!!!

So I'm almost positive that I'm ovulating today. I never have any pains or anything, but today have a LOT of CM and my BBT was up from normal. If I had the IUI done yesterday morning at 9am, do you all think it will work? How long does sperm last? There are varying opinions...

LMF...glad everything went relatively smoothly for you yesterday!! What a hectic day!! Anyway, it is possible you did O yesterday if your temp went up today. I do tend to get some good EWCM the day after O...and that's when my temp starts to go up too. So, it's still possible it was yesterday for you. But yes, the life span of those swimmers is a great debate. Did you use fresh or frozen? I'm sure your timing was just fine though. Welcome to the wonderful world of the TWW!!!!

Thanks for the reply Jenn! We used Frozen from Fairfax. He's the one who made my son as well as other offspring. They told me his count was 16-I'm just now figuring out what that means...Not too bad?

Thanks!

Yeah...that'd be 16 million motile after thaw I'm guessing. Not bad at all! The freeze and thaw kills so many of those buggers unfortunately!! 16 million...and to think...it only takes one, right?

Just a quick update...

Transferred BOTH of my embies this morning. And almost had my bladder explode...but that's another story.

I have nicknamed them PB & J for now, in the hopes that they'll be sticky.

Thanks for the well wishes, guys.

Off to take a nap now...

girlie ... I hear your bladder pain, honey.
When we transferred our little embies, I had wanted to watch the process on the u/s screen, but I was so uncomfortable with my sloshingly full bladder that it was all I could do not to pee on the nice doctor mucking around said bladder region. DP oohed and awed, eyes fixed on the screen, while I gripped her hand, made faces and concentrated on not letting loose a torrent.

Here's a little sticky dust for PB & J from a fellow transfer kid:

Lots of sticky dust being sent for girlie, coco and heart-n-bones! Tell me truthfully, h-n-b, was it "Plan Humpy Hump" that did the trick for you this time?

Good luck to you, love_my_family, giggleblue's DP, lemurmommies, as you tackle your TWWs! I hope there's lots of this happening -> :

To those waiting to O, I am granting you guys perfect timing this cycle! :

A thread for those of you with as much success as I've had with this. Or for whom it's just taking/taken a REALLY LONG TIME.

If nothing else, it'll give you something to groove on.

Baby dust to all of you! :

girlie - glad to hear that the embies were good and that the transfer went well. Sorry about the full bladder and the pain you had during the transfer. I have IBS and generally take Imodium at least once a week, but didn't use it at all when I was pregnant with E. What with the stress of wanting everything to be okay at our 20-week ultrasound and my full bladder, it was everything I could do not to poop on the poor ultrasound technician during that one.

Thanks for the luck everyone! DP and I have decided that we're going to test Sunday morning. From what I felt, I believe that I ovulated the 5th, so that would put us 12 DPO. I have the tests here and it's so so hard not to pee on a stick. I can't believe that last time I actually waited until 14 DPO to test. I've clearly lost willpower in the last 2.5 years...

Thanks so much for all the positive vibes!!

Back at work today. Just trying to pass the time. Thanks to ice and a heating pad, my PIO shots have been going much more smoothly. I think DP is more relieved about that than I am.

I haven't checked to see if its been done yet, but if not, please move me to 2ww!!

I can't believe Coco and I are both testing on the 21st!!

Coco, any plans to poas before your beta? What time is it scheduled for?

Mine is at 8:30 am (est) that morning. I will poas that morning, but it'll be right before the beta. I just want the chance to get an actual BFP on an HPT.

And my "symptom ignorer thingy" starts....NOW.

With all 5 of my IUIs, I've felt strange things I was just SURE signified a BFP. Of course, after 5 BFNs, I realize it was either meds or my body/mind playing tricks on me. Since I'm on so many more things now, I am ignoring EVERYthing. Unless a little flag starts waving from my yoni that says "Hey, mom, we're in here getting nice and comfy!", I am chalking it all up to progesterone, estrace, and/or gas. Yes, as a matter of fact, gas CAN cause sore bb's. At least that's the banner going through my mind for the next...7 days and 20 hours or so.

Obsessing? Moi? Never!

update

Soooo, it's been a bit crazy here in C land. The clomid made Hopin's cycle super long so our timing has been all out of wack. So, today is day 24 and H's finally ready to O and trigger tonight with Avodrel. That said, we are also going out of town in an hour and it just so happens we will be visiting our KD--so, no IUI this month, just the fresh! We feel like we've taken back the process from the medical establishment

So, fingers crossed--a new church has been visited and we are ready for a go!

Congrats to those who are cooking and best of luck to girlie, coco and heart n bones! Lots of baby stickies to all

Hi everyone. I know I've been absent from this thread for a couple of months but I wanted to come back and update everyone. It's been a long journey for us and we've decided to stop TTC and move forward without children. So it's with a lot of sadness that I need to ask to be removed from the list. I'm doing a lot of healing through my journaling but it does feel like a weight has lifted off me. We've done a lot of talking over the last few weeks and really feel like this is the best decision for us right now. I just can't do it any more and I need to reclaim my own body. I've stopped all treatments, supplements, charting, and returned our leftover swimmers. It's been a very sad transition but one I know is right for us. It's amazing how many things in my daily life were tied to this process/journey. I'm taking my time untying them.

We're having to re-work what our future looks like which is weird yet positive and healing in a lot of ways. We are making new goals and having different things to look forward too. We're taking our time with it and really leaning on each other for support, hugs, and comfort. We're doing a lot of talking with each other and Terri has been my rock- supportive, strong, yet gentle and compassionate. I feel so fortunate to have such a wonderful spouse to walk with me on this journey.

I'm doing a lot of things to get back to the woman I used to be before the insanity of infertility overtook my life, mind, and body. I'm really focusing on losing some of the weight I gained with the help of a dietitian. We're planning some vacations, hiking trips, and getting back to the things we loved. But for now I'm standing up from my sitting and waiting spot and shaking off the dust. Life will move forward again and for that I am ever so grateful.

I will also be leaving this thread. I wish you all much success and babydust. I hope you all achieve the families you've been dreaming about. To those already pregnant I hope only for healthy pregnancy's and births. I'll still be around, just not really in the parenting forums for now. Thank you all for being apart of my journey, for being a supportive, loving group of women who kept me somewhat sane in the crazymaking of babymaking. :
