I love Oxi-clean. Anyone else, or what is your opinion?

I love oxi-clean baby. We use cloth diapers and I use it in the hot wash of every diaper load. It gets the diapers smelling fresh and clean, and removes yucky stains. And it disinfects too, which is important when your talkin about human waste.
I use on our clothes, if there's a tough stain.

I use http://www.oxyboost.com/ which is the same thing, only stonger (or so they say) and yes, I love it.

I am amazed at the stain removal power. I used it on old stains (an overnight soak) and it got everything out.

I use Biz which is the oxi-thingy + enzymes or some such. Anyway, it seems to work better than just Oxi-clean. It is kind of expensive though, and probably not the most natural. But at this point it has saved so many clothes from being ruined that I don;'t really care.

Love It!

I love Oxyclean! It eat food stains and diaper stains like nothing. I've never tried Biz or Oxyboost. Now I'm interested to check them out and compare the results.

When I was a SAHM I was always careful to put a bib on ds when he ate and to hand wash his clothes if they got messy. But now that he is in daycare, there are no bibs used and his clothes get COVERED in food, paint, and mud daily. If it wasn't for oxiclean, I'd be buying new clothes all the time. I : that stuff!

I'm glad no one had said anything bad about this product. I'll look for the other products that were mentioned. Thanks, ladies:

I like oxyclean too, but I've heard it can fade clothes over time, so I decided to stop putting it in every load and just use it to stain treat as needed. It's amazing as a stain treater though.

However, I also use fels-naptha - its a yellow bar soap you can buy in the laundry aisle. It gets out those greasy stains that oxyclean doesn't get out.

I'm a Biz fan too. That stuff rocks. I've got a secret formula for removing every stain known to man (okay, not every...) that uses both.
its
1 scoop Biz
1 scoop oxyclean
1 cup powdered automatic dishwasher detergent (I use Cascade)
5 gallons warm water
Soak overnight

I keep a little pile of badly stained stuff and do up a batch of this whenever I have enough to make it worth my while. I've salvaged old garage sale formula-stain- ridden clothes to like new.

I get to be a bit OCD over stains. My thing is to rince off the spot with water, vineger, baking soda, etc (depends on the nature of stain) to rub it off right away, and soak it until it goes in the washer. Oxi Clean works well for that, too.

I have seen Biz with Oxi Clean in stores. I have my favorite dish soap and detergent, but really starting to look for "Environmentally Friendly" products. Home made, if I can find a recipe that really works for my dish washer (none I have tried, so far.) So, Cascade is out for me

I my experience, it will wash out some colors. I haven't noticed it on the actual clothing but in the soak water. For example, I soaked a red t-shirt and the water was definately reddish.

I use it primarily for whites and lights and would caution on spot treating a darker color.

Oxi-clean saved me when DD was a baby. It worked great on bf poo and spit-up stains. For baby showers, I make up a basket of "can't live without" products, and always include a bucket of Oxi-clean.

I love Oxiclean. And I love the fact that it comes in a "Free & Clear" version as we avoid scented laundry products whenever possible!

I just want to post one more: I use it to clean my cutting board.
I put a kitchen towel over the stained cutting board, and spray oxyclean mixed with water. Some times, I leave it over-night. Then, I get a clean kitchen towel and a cutting board

I : oxiclean! It's the best. It has saved 20 yr old, hand me down baby clothes covered in food & formula stains. EVERYTHING was brand new after 3 soakings in oxiclean. It also cleaned my bathtub at the same time, lol.

My ds got to wear the same baby clothes I did due to oxiclean.

Ok, another product I love as much as oxiclean: ZOUT. Not shout, but Zout. My mom found it while cleaning for a family with a baby. That stain remover gets a whole bunch of stuff out. I had given up on other stain removers completely, until I tried this one. The best part? Once you launder the clothes, no icky perfume smell like with other stain removers. It works on all kinds of stains too:blood, grass, ink....

With oxiclean & zout, I have no fears of giving ds blueberries, raspberries or spaghetti sauce in his "good" clothes.
