Beta levels?

Friday morning: 188
Monday morning: 640

Is that good? They can't tell how far along I am by those #s? I looked on Googe and it appears I'm in the 4th week if the numbers are god.

The OB nurse said since they are going up its a good sign and they want me to come in for an ultrasound to date it in one week. Geeze, its going to be a long week!

hey mamas- just wanted to let you know I didn't see my doc today. I was having wicked cramping for about an hour this morning and didn't feel safe to drive. The cramping is gone, bleeding is about the same, but my boobs still hurt. My appointment is at 1 tomorrow, so I'll let you know one way or the other how it goes. Send some good vibes my way, if you can, mamas.

No morning sickness

I had morning sickness with my son, none with my miscarriage. None yet this pregnancy. I think it started at about 7 weeks last time though, so I'm not quite there yet...

Anyone else hoping they start having chunks and being nauseous all the time?

Does anyone else just not get full blown morning sickness in pregnancy?

I have had a few friends who have had babies recently and most of them reported that they did not have any m/s at all with their pregnancies. I tend to feel queasy here and there, but do not feel the urge to throw up. Does anyone else not get sick in all of their pregnancies??

i never got m/s until just over 7 weeks with both my girls...i'm just over 6 weeks so am hoping that sometime within the next week or so i start heaving like you wouldn't believe..will make me feel better anyway... of course, remind me i said that when i'm crying about it... i have been nauseas a little off and on with this one and just feeling overall crappy. the last pregnancy i was gagging from the beginning, but at about this time symptoms went away.. i'm happy to report that this time, boobs are still sore...over all crappy still there and that nauseas threatening throat thing is there too. plus, i'm not all that crazy about food in general now...

crossing my fingers for us all...

rachel, i'm thinking about you today..hope your visit goes well..

quick update-

basically, inconclusive results. They did a transvaginal ultrasound and saw a small sac, possible fetal pole, no cardiac activity. I am still bleeding, now enough to need a pad (not soaking through at all). I have a small fibroid (they mentioned this in my last pregnancy) that may be responsible for the bleeding/cramping, but it's impossible to tell.

They screwed up my appointment and actually had me scheduled while they were having a staff meeting, so my actual visit with the OB was quite short. : He basically gave me a 50/50 chance of m/c, even though I personally believe that's already happening. I had my betas drawn, will go back Thursday to recheck.

So, since then, I've passed a few tiny (smaller than a pencil eraser) clots, and the bleeding has been roughly the same. I will go back in 3 weeks, and it's either going to be to continue prenatal care, to verify I had a complete m/c, or to discuss a d&c (which I really don't want).

so, though I went in really wanting some clarity (and DH and I really want to TTC again when he returns next month, if this pregnancy is over), I got ambiguity. Hopefully my bloodwork will at least tell me *something*.

Thanks for thinking of me, mamas.

How many weeks do you think you are? I'm so sorry that you didn't get any answers I'm still hoping for you :

I am so sorry you have to go through this. The not knowing is the hardest part. Please try to have positive thoughts that things are still ok. It really could be from the fibroid. I am still hoping for you as well! :

Oh I am so sorry. How totally frustrating. It seems like there are very few ways to give us the answer we want in early pregnancy. I am hoping for great news Monday, but really at 6 or 7 weeks along (or however far I have no idea) it'll probably be ambiguous too.

The waiting is the hardest part. Usually by now DH and I would have blabbed dto everyone we know about this, so I can't even imagine us keeping it to ourselves until the 12th week! Thats FOREVER away!

I hope that you find the answer you need in the form of stopped bleeding and a healthy baby at the u/s in 3 weeks, but if not I hope that the m/c will complete for you so you can know what is going on and ttc again! I hope that reads right and ykwim? I'll be thinking of you and worrying for you, and for all of us. Keep us updated and don't leave us yet! We need your support too!

If it comes down to the latter and you have access to an acupuncturist, I would highly recommend it. I had brown bleeding for about 10 days before my 50/50 chance was confirmed as not viable. It was just about a month after the embryo had died. The next day (Tuesday) I had an acupuncture treatment and things got started in earnest on Wednesday evening and were complete at 11:58am on Friday with the expulsion being entire. Fortunately, we were able to resume TTC'ing right away and got pregnant again the second cycle afterward.

hello! I've done such a good job of reading only the 'loss' thread (and nothing else) that I didn't know you were pregnant! I just found out too!! not really planned in my situation but I'm excited. April 22. just 10 days (and one year) after Micah was stillborn @ 40 weeks. I don't really know how I feel yet. anxious. confident. (strangely) we just found out last night for sure and plan to tell almost no one irl.

Hey, since you guys have all had a loss, do you mind answering my poll, here, and adding your perspective? I'm just not sure what to do. My dh doesn't either. Thanks.

Ok guys. I need your expertise. So my hcg tripled between Monday and today (Wednesday) 96 to 305. So I'm very happy about that - but my progesterone is at 23.7 - is this ok?
