I shouldn't have let her sweep again

On Mon I let my mw sweep me again since I was having some good ctx, hoping to push me over into labor - yeah right. Well, other than being really uncomfortable all day yesterday with irregular ctx...I think the only thing it did was make ds retreat north. I have heartburn again, which I haven't had in a week and 1/2 and he just feels higher under my boobs. UGH! I guess I set myself back that much time too before he will want to come out.

I wouldn't stress over making that decision - it could've been anything that sent ds for the hills. Could just be that he is big enough that he is still low but still giving you heartburn? My heartburn never went away until just after delivery!
I had a second sweep done and 2 days later he was in my arms!
I don't think anything done at this point will hinder labour so although easier said than done...try and relax.

I only have a minute but just wanted to give you 's and just throw my 2 cents worth in.

I wouldn't worry about him being higher now...I had constant heartburn up until (even during labor) BUT my "little" one was huge. 10lbs. 23" long. So your babe could just be a long one. It doesn't mean he is big either he could just be long. My niece born back in March was 23" long but she only weighed 8lbs. 6oz.

I thought too that my guy was just bobbing in and out of my pelvis but that wasn't the case. He was just big and long.

Thanks! My mw tells me she feels he will be super long, 23" or so, so that makes sense. I don't know which I prefer, the heartburn or the intense pressure below. One seems to make the other disappear temporarily.

When our babe kept migrating up, I went in to see a chiropractor who was super gentle and able to adjust me well enough for him to come back down and into the perfect position. Maybe that would help you?
