Does anyone here consult for Discovery Toys? I was thinking about buying a package and giving the toys to my kids for Christmas. It would earn me consulting rights, so I thought, I'll offer the toys to my local friends as a fundraiser for LLL or API. I don't know that I could really make money from it because DH has wonky hours, I'm homeschooling my four kids, and I have a very needy-at-night almost 4mo. So much question is, is it worth it? The lady I spoke with insists that there are no hidden fees- I pay for the starter package, shipping, and tax, and that's it. If I sell nothing within a year, I will no longer be considered a Discovery Toys consultant.
Am I settling myself up for big headache? Tax troubles? As I said, I'm not looking for a big turn around. I'm just thinking these could be great christmas presents/ donations/ fundraising opportunities for my local fav nonprofits.
