so lol its 10am and I am here with a two ounce bottle of vodka and a grape gatorade...classy

Megan, you're right. I feel like in some ways I haven't really appreciated this pregnancy, I've been so caught up in the shock of it, and then the nausea, and then the worry, and then the aches and pains and name anxiety and everythign else... that I really haven't stopped to "smell the roses."

I guess I have 5 more days to try and savor it. This is my last one, too.

things to be thankful to still be pregnant for..
1. my inlaws are not on my couch
2. no afterbirth pains
3. no nipple issues
4. I can sleep if I could sleep
5. I am still round and pregnant not the postpartum princess belly
6. People are actually interested in how I am doing and have sympathy for me
7. People hold doors for me
8. no one is making comments about the baby, no one knows the name
9. no one is trying to kiss the babe with a runny nose...

yeah, the selfish part of me hates this part of postpartum. Suddenly, we don't exist. ;-) that's what mdc is for though, right? haha

I ended up not doing any of my errands because my pregnancy brain forgot to bring the things I wanted to return after lunch. bwahahahha! then, on the way back home to get them, one of our friends called for a ride home from the ER. He has a kidney stone try to pass and was given an iv of diloted and obv. couldn't drive himself. Then we took him to the pharmacy and the grocery store.

When we got home, I let dd play with the neighbor kids that she adores but I usually don't let her play with (they use her for her bike and other toys!!) while I removed all 30 or so bumper stickers from my car that we are about to put on craigslist. BTW, if you ever need to do this, a hair dryer and spatula work wonders! I have had lots of energy today. I need to take advantage of this and get my floors mopped (and pack my bag), in case its a sign! If I could just get the dog to stop shedding, I would have to vacuum the bedrooms every day!

I know its so uncomfortable right now, especially in hot areas, but try to remember the good parts too.
Thanks, Megan. I need to keep reminding myself.
