Hey, I am just catching up on this thread!

Frog, it's so good that your mom is selling your stuff! That's awesome.

I cleaned up my crafting/thrifting/junk collecting space last night, and realized I have no fewer than 5 unstarted or partially done craft projects lined up. Cards and placemats to collage, a batik kit to use (I decided I didn't want to do that one, though), some baby food jars to turn into something, a papermaking kit to try, candles to make...I've got to stop shopping and start crafting!

In this book, Wagashi, there is a tutorial on how to make a fabric butterfly pin. It would be really easy to make it into an ornament. It would look rad with tie dye fabric!

Ok, well I guess the link doesnt go right to the ornaments.. so go to the top, click on "holidays" go down and click on christmas. There are lots of other holidays in there too.

Subbing--

My machine has been in the shop for one month tomorrow (they said it would take 3 weeks). I am so pissed I could throw something heavy out the window. I keep calling and the ladies that work there are getting annoyed-- AGHHHH I know you will all understand my pain....

I finally finished a pair of pants I've been working on for months
In spring, I cut out the fabric and they just sat there. Well yesterday, I spent some time sewing them together and then I screen printed a bike on the leg. They look fabulous! : Im going to post a pic soon
