That's okay, I may actually be due March 31st-- shhhh... don't tell anyone.

I consider estimated due dates to be just that-- estimated. Even according to the "medical establishment" babies have 5 weeks in which to be born where they're considered "term" (37-42 weeks).

Wait...the math doesn't add up...

Do you mean that your AF was due 7/22-7/25 and didn't show up? Assuming a 28day cycle, that would put your EDD at 3/31/09- 4/3/09. Most due date calculators ask for the first day of your last menstrual period (the first day of the last period where you actually bled/ had a period), though you can find some that will calculate your due date based on the date of conception.

Or do you mean that your last period started on 7/22-7/25? Because, it's not yet possible to be due May 1st-- you'd have to conceive tomorrow.

Yeah I havent even gotten a BFP yet (4DPO) and my HEDD would be 4/25/09. So maybe your dates are messed up? or thats your HEDD (hopeful expected due date).

If I go by the online calculators (or what the doctors will likely tell me) I'm due 3/31...by FF, due 4/2 b/c I didn't O until CD 20. All are welcome here, of course, but it looks like it's pretty likely this is where you belong, anyhow. I'd redo your EDD with the date from your previous AF, not the one you missed, as suggested by the pp GL

Yeah... you have to take the online calculators that use the first day of your last menstrual period (LMP) as the basis for your due date with a grain of salt -- because they assume that everyone has a 14 day follicular phase (i.e. that everyone ovulates on day 14 ). Knowing the actual date of ovulation/ conception is more accurate (but sometimes trickier to pinpoint).

I'm 4 weeks pregnant and am due 4/14, so if you're already pregnant I think you'd be due in April. My AF was due 8/4, so it sounds like you'd be due before me.

If you were due to start your period on July 25, and you ovulate on day 14 of a 28 day cycle... that would put you ovulating on July 10th, and due around April 3th.

If you were due to start your period on July 22, and you ovulate on day 14 of a 28 day cycle... that would put you ovulating on July 7th, and due around March 31th.

If you have longer or shorter cycles, or know when you ovulated, the due date would be adjusted accordingly.

OH..I feel , I thought LMP meant Last Missed Period, you would think I wasn't pregnant before. I was to start my period around July 22nd-25th so my LMP had to be around June 22nd-25th I think (I just know it was close to the end of the month). I did find it was weird when it said I was 1 week and changed, I thought I did the calculations in my head wrong. When I use to chart I would O around the 16th-19th day(I have longer cycles than 28 days) that was before I had DS. According to the NEW calculations now I am due around April 1st-4th(I put in June 25th).

FWIW if you're due toward the end of one month - beginning of another, I highly recommend joining the later ddc. It is soooo hard psychologically to be one of the last ones to birth.

That would be this one. I don't worry about being the last though, DS came close on the 25th and he was due on the 16th it didn't bother me at all. But thanks.

That's why I joined this DDC, (I am due March 26th), also by the time I got a BFP the March DDC seemed to already be well established.
