That's how I feel. I think I'm just in a holding pattern, and it's making me crazy. My body teases me a little (pinkish spotting, loose BM's)..then POOF...nothing.
I can empathize with ya. My EDD is the 9th, and I've gotten a few ctx, enough to get things going I guess, but other than that, you wouldn't know that this baby is term.
I was stuck in a holding pattern with DS for over 6 weeks and ended up induced. Here I am again in the same pattern. Contractions come and go. Lots of "teasers". And as with DS, this baby's head is engaged, my cervix is just so far back... I think that is the problem. My body can't go into labor on its own without my cervix being moved forward, which is what my doctor did during my induction with DS and he was born VERY quickly after that.
*I think its like a dance..one step forward half a step back (although emmotionally it feels like 27 steps back!)
I had contractions last night...regular ones..checked cervix NADA...
then today bloody show and some progress...

Yep, my cervix is still quite posterior (as of tuesday) and I swear it's in my nostrils. It's always like that though, and hasn't prevented my labors before...I wish I could reach in there and pull it forward myself.
