Me and dh were both born on the waning moon, a few days after the full moon, so I'm thinking it's going to be around the 19th for me. (Plus, the 19th would let us actually be in the big family picture thing his cousin's arranging.)

The 16th has been my prediction all along as my son was born on the first full moon after my due date.

Although my 4 yr old says the 13th! That's my mom's bday.

My edd is on the 16th. I'm thinking some time around there... I went 10 days past dd's edd so who knows!

I wouldn't have any issues with going earlier... oh yeah, except it would be nice to get the bathroom remodel done BEFORE the birth.

My original prediction was the 18th. I figure I'll start labor the night of the 16th with the full moon and then she'll take a while to actually come out.

I say the 18th because DH and I were both born after 2 day long labors. Also, my MIL's birthday is the 16th and my mom's is the 20th, so the 18th is right in the middle of those.

I think I may be a 16th one too. Ds was born shortly after the full moon and 8 days early. I am due on the 15th and today was 8 days early...no baby. I feel like he/she may be waiting for that full moon. My mw thinks I won't make it though and I was 70% effaced and 2 cm dilated 2 weeks ago so . I would love the 8th or the 16th (as if I had a choice )

The 16th is my edd, but I'm thinking the baby will come earlier. I have no reason for believing he/she will be an early arrival...probably just wishful thinking...it'll probably end up happening a week later.

My midwives have joked about starting a pool at the birthing center since I'm such a wild card... second birth, but first one was 14-1/2 yrs ago... so will I be on time (as a second parent) or late (as is typical with first births)? Being as how my EDD is tomorrow, and so far I've had about 2 ctx a day, I don't think this baby will be on time... unless things really pick up today.

So, given the full moon approaching (and the partial eclipse tho' we won't be able to see it), this baby may just be holding out for that astronomically auspicious occasion. Who knows? It would certainly give us more time to get things finished up here.

Maybe? My mil seems to think so and keeps telling me to call "if anything happens" (sheesh, I love her, but I'm not even 37 wks yet!). My prediction has been 8/18 which will be 38 weeks exactly. I realized later that that was also the day I found out I was pg (surprise!) with #1 in 2003. Never know . . . but we do have a party the 17th that I's like to make it to.

I'm thinking more like the 18th or 19th but who the hell knows. I very well could be mid-September!

I asked dh when he was thinking Aka_chan will arrive "just pull a number out of the hat sort of guess, if you have a reason for it, that's cool too, but this is just for fun" and it turned out he'd told a co-worker that the EDD was the 16th so he was like "apparently that's the date I come up with for this."

My DH always guessed the 18th, my induction happens to end up being the 18th, but my mother thinks the full moon will do it, so I'll try to be "ready" sooner

I have had 3 different people guess the 17th for me. And then my chiropractor said today that since it's the full moon I'd probably go in to labor on the 16th and have him on the 17th so that makes her the fourth! I hope so I am so done being pregnant.

Well I've guessed a couple of dates and been wrong so far.. Although I did pray before that for financial reasons it'd be great if she didnt come till the middle of August soooo, I'm not even gonna gues but I sure am hoping she comes out by then since I will be just a couple days shy of being 42 weeks then and I am becoming more and more done.

I so get the bun in the oven joke now btw... I sweat all the time even with a fan pointed right at me.... we really are cooking up a baby.

My EDD is the 15th, but my MW has another client due on the 16th. I am really hoping that only one of us is influenced by the full moon, or it could be a bit of a conundrum. Although we have joked that we should just both give birth at her house at the same time to make it easier.
