I am getting out tomorrow!!

I have been wanting to go camping so bad, for a change of scenery, I'm tired of being at home looking at all my birthing stuff just waiting around for her to come. I hate it, it's got me feeling all depressed so I dont want to do anything. Plus all we have for baby is a crib which I am very glad to have bought, I was supposed to get a bunch of baby stuff from a couple people and that fell through and I've got one more gal from church saying she has lots of clothes and a couple pack'n'plays so hopefully I will get that. I was supposed to have two baby showers and still nothing. One, my mom was supposed to throw for me for friends and family but she never printed them so it's just been constantly put off and I know it will never happen. The other my church was gonna throw for me and it was supposed to be this weekend but they forgot about when I was due and they changed it to some time in Sept. I feel like that wont happen either... Yes this is my second baby but I was 18 when I had my first and didnt get a shower then either, well my mom threw one but only two of my friends showed up, no family did so that doesnt really count... I feel like I'm the only one excited about my baby and even that excitement is starting to dwindle with the lack of labor symptoms. I wanna go out and get more baby stuff but we have a lack of money right now as we are trying to pay off a loan.

I tried to convince dh and my mom to go camping this weekend but they are both like "you're past your due date! you could go into labor any minute!" Yeah right, wouldnt that be nice? This kid is not coming out anytime soon, she must really like where she's at.
After talking with dh a little more he decided we should find things to go out and do that are closer to home just in case... So now I'm trying to fill the next couple days with some fun activities... Any ideas or suggestions?

Here's what I have as possibilities on my list

*Beach
*Getting some preggo pics taken professionally (since I only have two pics of me being preggo and hubby took them so they aren't very nice looking)
*Family pics too
*Bowling
*A park where we can feed some ducks
*chuck'e'cheese for Ds
*water park

We have passes for the water park and knotts but I cant do anything but walk around and watch dh and ds go on the rides so its not much fun...
What fun stuff is there that I can do?

maybe you could scout out some yard sales (if that's fun for you, that is!). That way you can get some inexpensive baby gear too.

But, the beach or the water park sound like the most fun for DS.

Well, I think you have some good ideas already. Several of those are on my list for the next couple of weeks. Of course assuming my lo doesn't make her entrance early (I can't imagine how you're feeling being "overdue"). . . We're going to a water park next Friday, fed some ducks this morning, doing some pg pics - need to get on that one soon as this is my last baby! I'm also going to a pool tomorrow with my sil and I had a pedicure done earlier this week. I'd go to a beach if it were closer (ours are 3-4 hours away). Can you get out by yourself at all? I enjoy spending too much on a drink and reading my book on occasion. Sometimes I just wander through Target or Ross Dress for Less looking for bargains (basically crap I don't need )
