I'm bleeding

Hi ladies, please think about me this weekend. I went to use the toilet last night and blood ran out. It's not thick or menstrual like, no clots yet, but it's not brown or just pink spots either.

I've had some mild uterine sensations, but nothing crampy or sharp.

I did lose one before my dd was born, but I hadn't been having dark pg tests, and they never got darker and my temps dropped. This time (I just took another pg test last night) the lines are showing up dark and immediately and this morning my temp actually took a steep incline.

No bleeding yet today or overnihgt, I'm hoping it was just because af would have made her arrival a few days ago (I'm currenly 20DPO, so about 5 weeks pg).

I'm worried especially because I'm nursing, that it might be causing some uterine complications. Does anyone have any info on that? I'm trying to stay positive here.
Why does this stuff happen on FRIDAY nights???? I can't see doc to do quantitative betas until Monday

Bleeding during early pregnancy is fairly common, but I would also be VERY concerned about it even though I know that.

I will keep you in my thoughts...

I read this last night in the Sears' Pregnancy Book:

"Many blood vessels are being formed as your placenta grows, so its no wonder that an occasional tiny vessel breaks and you notice staining, spotting or a little bleeding."

He goes on to say that it is probably nothing to worry about if the bleeding is "painless, brief, slight and not associated with any other symptoms. The blood is red or pinkish and does not contain fragments of tissue".

I know this doesn't put your mind completely at ease, and I would be feeling the same way if I was bleeding, but hopefully Dr. Sears' insight will help you feel a little better.

I said a prayer, too. Yes, that definitely sounds like bleeding that is described in every book as normal. don't worry, mama. I pray again that everything is okay with you and yours. i do know for sure that everylittlething is gonna be alright. no matter what. hugs to you and stay positive mama. good luck.

I'm so grateful for all your prayers and good thoughts!

so far, everything is ok. Yesterday no new blood, just some light brown spots on the tp and what could have been some cm that was sticky brown, a very tiny amount.

Today, nothing, and I pray it stays that way. Thanks for keeping us in your thoughts, I'm actually pretty calm today. Still phoning the doc tomorrow though!

I bled for two days quite heavily with ds2 when I was 4.5 weeks along. But I didn't have any cramps. He was fine, but it scared the crap out of me!

I am glad to hear that it seems to be ending. I know how stressful it can be.

I had some very light bleeding Wed. & Thurs. last week. I had an ultrasound on Thursday and everything looked good. I'm going to keep thinking positive thoughts for both us.
