Carolyn Barbara. Barbara is both DH's and my mom's first name.

We are actually debating between using Carrie or Callie as a nickname, so of course I love the name Calli

This little girl will be Kellianne Jenae.

FIL and BIL are both Kelly, so we won't be calling her Kelly. And Jenae is a combination of my names... but my mom and sister both have Renae as a middle name, which is where "Lenae" came from. So, this is a mixture of mixed names.

My babe is going to be Iris. Still going back and forth on her middle name. We've at least narrowed it down to a few we like. Chances are we won't actually pick her middle name until she's here.

Our little boy is Davin Ezra. Davin is a variation of David after DH's grandfather.

If it's a boy it will be Keir Elias Marx if it's a girl we don't know yet.

Our son will be named Christopher Robert. Christopher is my DH's name and Robert is my fathers name, who passed away in the line of duty 8 years ago.

Wow- a lot of names named after family! Am I the only one here who is just naming because we like the name?

Not that there's anything wrong with naming after someone of course...It's cool- our first was named after my FIL but anyway, just wondering.

I love this name! If this babe had been a girl, her name would have been Iris.

Wow, we have a lot in common... we were married about a month apart, both have two cats, and are expecting little girls in Oct! I also love the name Nora, but can never use it because my sister's dog is named Nora. I also love Caitlyn, but again could never use it because DH's cousin just had a Caitlyn in January.

Well, this baby might have a family middle name, but none of our other kids will. Um, nobody in our family has names we like

I actually picked Kellianne because I loved the name... my concern was actually that FIL and BIL were both Kelly. Don't burst their bubble, but she's not being named after them. LOL I've always loved Jenae and said I'd name my daughter that, but as I've gotten older, I don't love it as much for a first name, so middle name it is.

I am NOT expecting, but if I were, we'd name a girl Winifred Elizabeth (and call her Freddie) and we'd name a boy Zebediah Frank (and call him Zebbie).

Winifred *is" a family name, but the main thing is that we love names that are old fashioned but a little unusual and start with late in the alphabet letters, like VWXYZ,

we have a list of girl names (tayen, lilith, karis, meadow, indigo...and a few others) but are waiting to see the possible her, before we name her. her middle name may well be jill after my mum; dd's middle name is edith after my grandmother.

if beaker is a he, i'm pretty sure his name will be wolf. we still need to find a first name, because dh wont allow one of my 'hippy' names to a be his first name
