On another note, on the way to cheerleading my DD (8) asked me out of the blue how a man got pregnant- she must have heard something on the news at some point. What a fun convo... "well, he isn't technically a man. Uh... he took hormones to turn into a man but kept his uterus and everything JIC... uh... IDK, Ri, I think he did have his breasts removed. Where's his penis? Well, I imagine he didn't have one put on. I guess he wanted to be a man because he didn't feel he should have been a female. What? Hey! I know! You want an ice cream after practice???"
I so wish kids would tell you all the questions they'll ask you in the morning so you can reherse your answers before they're asked.
