My twins are here!

Thread Starter
I only have a quick moment to post, but wanted to say that my pPROM boys were born on 8/8 at 32 weeks!

They're completely gorgeous, of course. Shoghi is Baby A, born at 3# 7oz, and Maxwell is Baby B, 3# 15oz! They're both in the NICU, breathing room air with no assistance, taking bottles, snuggling with their amazed mama, grandma, and aunties.

Here's a link to an online photo album with the few photos I've had time to post.

I'm so grateful to you all for your encouragement and support! We made it exactly 4 weeks past the rupture of Shoghi's membranes. (x-posted in my DDC)

Congratulations Celeste - it must be a HUGE relief to have them safely with you after those four weeks of uncertainty. All births have their special story and your lead up is AWESOME. Hope you get to post the birth story soon.

Enjoy those snuggles!!!

Congratulations on your beautiful babies! I missed your ordeal (I think I was busy walking, hoping to go into labor around that time...my twins are 3 weeks old now) but will look for your posts. Best wishes for a speedy NICU stay and continued good news!

Welcome to the world, little ones (with beautiful names, btw), and congrats to you mama for keeping them in as long as you didn't after the membranes broke. Good luck in the NICU and wishing you a quick trip home all together soon!::
